API 6A Wellhead Gate Valve

API6A gate valve is a special gate valve for wellheads, which is widely used in various oil and gas fields and offshore drilling platforms.

Flat valve

Application range:

The flat gate valve is suitable for natural gas, petroleum, chemical, environmental protection, urban pipelines, gas pipelines and other transportation pipelines, venting systems and steam storage devices, as opening and closing equipment.

1. For oil and natural gas pipelines, use single or double gate flat gate valves. If you need to clean the pipeline, use single or double gate open-rod flat gate valve with diversion holes.

2. For the transportation pipeline and storage and transportation equipment of refined oil, select single gate valve without diversion hole or light flat gate valve.

3. For oil and natural gas extraction wellhead devices, single-gate or double-gate flat gate valves with dark rod floating valve seats and diversion holes are used, most of which are API16A standards, and the pressure levels are API2000, API3000, API5000, API10000, API15000, API20000.

4. For pipelines with suspended particles, use hard-sealed flat gate valves or knife-type flat gate valves.

Structural features:

The design complies with the requirements of API "Spec" 6A, SY/T5127-2002.

The valve structure has two forms: bright rod and dark rod: dark rod (no tail rod) structure. Rising rod structure with balanced tail rod.

The stem sealing packing can adopt a lip-shaped structure, with reliable sealing and small operating torque.

There is an inverted sealing structure between the valve stem and the valve cover, which is convenient for valve stem packing to be replaced under pressure.

Used in drilling and completion systems, drilling crosses, Christmas trees, tubing heads and manifolds. Forging pressure parts, two-way design.

The valve plate and the valve seat, the valve seat and the valve body, the valve cover and the valve body and the valve stem are all metal-to-metal seals. The sealing surface of the gate and the valve seat is stacked (sprayed) with cemented carbide, which is corrosion-resistant and erosion-resistant.

The valve cover has a grease hole.
